I didn’t think I’d be writing this, but here we are:
My TikTok account has been suddenly and completely banned — simply because I’ve been releasing and sharing my own music as an artist.
No warning. No clear explanation. One moment everything was fine, the next moment the account was gone.
What happened?
Over the past weeks I’ve been publishing music content — snippets, releases, and creative clips around my work. That’s literally what TikTok is built for, right?
Apparently not (at least not in my case).
TikTok flagged the activity and my account was blocked and then fully banned, even though the content was connected to my own releases. I’ve already started the appeal / support process, but as many creators know: platform decisions can be fast — and the communication can be painfully slow.
Why I’m sharing this
I’m not posting this for drama. I’m sharing it because:
- I don’t want anyone thinking I “disappeared”
- I don’t want my community losing touch
- and honestly: I’m not going to chase a platform that can erase years of work overnight without transparency
If TikTok can ban an artist account for publishing music, it raises a bigger question about how reliable the platform really is for creators.
